根據Rasa Smite & Raitis Smits於Swamp Radio自述中寫道：

Project takes a challenge to give a voice to many those unheard, and invisible. In a time when our planet is threatened by climate change, real and hybrid wars, the swamps represent contemporary oasis.These vast wetlands with their ancient ecosystems are like time-capsules. Yet swamps are also key players for serving variety of ecological services for our modern society.

本計畫使那些無法被聽見的、無法被看見之物一個聲音。環境變遷與混雜的戰爭正在脅迫著世界，而水窪便體現了當代綠洲。在這個水世界裡頭，囊縮著古代生態，它們在現代社會中扮演維持生物多樣性的角色。Swamp Radio超乎了人類是的現實並保有與人類與其他生物之間的連結。透過藝術家介入以及介面轉換Swamp Radio被轉換為物可見及不可發聲的自然扮演者，製造一種多重聲音的環境。

而Roy Ascott 對Net-extent指在遠端科技下的人類肉身以及生物性的延伸連結，人類彷彿失去了過去的重力以及向度，人類以自己對外在的連結定義自身。而Nature II則是人類已從過去的與自然的關係脫離並進入第二代的自然關係，二代自然為人造生活的進化，並重新以生物連結定義人類。

從Roy Ascott的關鍵詞脈絡下，Swamp Radio透過科技，在遠古生物及其環境與人類世界架起橋梁，在技術上轉換了它物種的發聲介面，人類從而可見之，可聽之。
